Athletes and Neurofeedback

We finally had the 2020 Summer Olympics, and at The Colorado Center for Neurofeedback we love to hear about Olympians using neurofeedback as part of their training. For years, athletes tried to keep it quiet so they would have a “secret weapon”, but the word is out!

Athletes of all ages and levels use neurofeedback to help maintain the calm focus that is necessary to compete at a high level. One of my colleagues trains Olympic figure skaters while another works with the Red Bull athletes. The Milan Soccer Club also uses it with videos of recent games, to teach players to release that self-criticism and move on quickly.

Skiers, volleyball players, golfers, gymnasts, baseball players and more have all discussed how the use of neurofeedback has helped them reach the next level of competition.

Football players use it both for focus, and for recovery from head injuries, but that will be another blog!

So if you want to get in on the secret, and take your game to the next level, give us a call. We always schedule free consultations, and we will explain how we can help you be better at your sport, not matter what your level!

While neurofeedback may improve or eliminate many symptoms we are not claiming to cure any illness.

Do not stop or change any medications or other medical treatments without consulting your physician.

We currently are not in network with any insurance companies, but upon request we do offer Superbills that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
